Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef (93% beef/7% Fat)
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 ½ tablespoons butter (optional)

Instructions
- Set out a large mixing bowl. Add in the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, milk, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Mix by hand or fork until the meat mixture is smooth, but stop once the mixture looks even. (Overmixing can create a dense heavy texture.)
- Using fork separate meat into 5 to 6 equal hamburger patties..Set out a baking sheet or plate, lined with wax paper or foil, to hold the patties. One at a time, gather each separated beef mixture and massage patty into a ball. Then shape beef into a patty, slightly larger than your bun, to account for shrinkage during cooking.
- Set the patties on the baking sheet or plate. If you need to stack the patties separate them with a sheet of wax paper.
- Preheat the grill or a skillet to medium heat. Add butter into skillet(Approximately 350-400 degrees F.)
- Grill or fry the patties for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Stack the hot patties on hamburgers buns, and top with your favorite hamburgers toppings. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can either grill or cook Hamburger on Stovetop.
- Substitute lean ground beef for Waygu beef, for even tender taste. Each bite will feel like butter.
- Homemade hamburger patties will keep well tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months
